So why do we preach and teach?

1 Timothy 4:13

Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of scripture, to preaching and to teaching.

During Kids Clubs on Wednesday night, the elementary children were reminded of this week's verse and big idea. We have been talking about everything we do on a Sunday and why we do it. Preaching and teaching are a major part of NRG Kids because the God's word is central to transformation. With preaching and teaching, kids hear about God. They learn more about His character and nature. They also hear from God.

2 + 2 = 4, but God's word will teach you more

Kids Clubs are a great way for kids to learn more about God and have fun at the same time. This semester there are clubs for Cooking, Junior Leadership, Karate, Junior Bible Quiz, Survival and the Outdoors, Sister Power, Art, and Scrapbooking. Winter semester is quickly approaching.
